Mentorship Program

OUR MENTORSHIP PROGRAM IS LGBTQ+ SPECIALIZED (AND ACCREDITED)

Our Mentorship Program is designed to connect LGBTQ+ law students to LGBTQ+ attorneys and legal professionals in order to foster meaningful connections in a safe, professional setting and help participants identify ways to navigate the distinct issues they may face in their legal careers.

Mentor-mentee pairings are year-long (on the school year). Our Mentorship Committee regularly hosts events for all Mentorship Program participants to connect, learn from one another and develop other informal mentor-mentee relationships. Open matching for the Mentorship Program begins each August and runs through mid-September.

Our Mentorship Program is accredited for CLE credit in Colorado through CAMP (the Colorado Attorney Mentoring Program)! Mentors must adhere to Mentorship Program plan in order to receive CLE credit, which can be found here.

If you are interested in becoming a mentor or mentee in our Membership Program (or a member of our Mentorship Committee), please contact the Chair of our Mentorship Committee, Kelsey Martin (She, Her, Hers) at kelsey@werge.law
