Marlana A. Caruso focuses her practice on litigating a variety of claims in the area of family law and domestic litigation. Additionally, she has experience in obtaining and defending protection orders, assisting with private adoption actions, preparation of simple wills and medical directives, ART issues, guardianships and conservatorships, and preparation and defense of various types of marital or cohabitation agreements. She has represented clients ranging from low-income issues to high asset divisions and disputes. Marlana has extensive experience in managing all aspects of litigation and case handling, from initial consultation through trial and even post-decree issues. She strives to work closely with her clients to advise them throughout their representation and continue to reach favorable outcomes.
Marlana has been recognized by Super Lawyers Magazine as a "Rising Star" for Colorado in 2022.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Christopher Newport University in 2006. During that time, she was recognized among the top of her class and graduated Cum Laude, with Distinction and Departmental Honors. Marlana received her Juris Doctor Degree from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law in 2009. While there, she further distinguished herself from classmates and was ranked 7th in her class, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
